Black cat was a fairly concise manga story that was eventually adapted into a 24 episode anime series. While not hugely popular, either in Japan or abroad, it had quite the following. Since it also featured a number of very beautiful and young looking female characters, it would not at all escape the notice of doujin circles interested in playing in their playground. While not necessarily heading into lolicon territory, the beautiful young female characters of the show, like Saya and Eve, certainly lean in that direction. This likely attracts a lot of fans to hentai doujinshi based on the original work. (more…)

Inuyasha, the long running manga series by superstar Rumiko Takahashi, after being adapted into a 167 episode animated series, gained worldwide popularity. The series even ran regularly on American and European TV networks and the manga has been translated into many languages. This kind of popularity can only mean that hentai doujinshi cannot be far behind. One of the things doujin circles live for is the ability to adapt manga series with very large casts into hentai parodies. Inuyasha lends itself very well to this as it not only has a very large cast of characters, but also complex character relationships. (more…)

Kodomo Challenge is a doujin circle that gained some notoriety for their lolicon works a few years ago. Their name is derived from a popular series of preschool training books and videos, but there work certainly bares no resemblance to the original. Much of there hentai doujinshi was done in a day before the proliferation of doujin download sites and so they were traditionally printed manga stories that were often sold at comic markets in Japan. These comic markets are havens for both doujinshi makers and collectors where they can meet and creators have an opportunity to build audiences and gain fans. Kodomo Challenge built quite an audience in their day. (more…)

Hentai doujinshi is a very Japanese invention and, as such, is almost always seen in Japanese language. While some mainstream hentai comics have been brought over to English speaking countries and translated, most doujinshi has been largely unknown to western audiences. The advent of scanlations, where print manga from Japan is scanned into a computer by fan groups and translated into English, has been slowly changing this. Now popular douinshi are being found by fans an made available in their language online. This has led to some doujin artists building a name outside of their home territory. (more…)

Japan has a very interesting world of media. Although they have mainstream manga and anime, which has its copyrights and trademarks, there is another world underneath it, a world where independent artists are allowed to freely play with these very same copyrighted properties, in parody works, and even make money from them. These groups of artists are called doujin circles, and the products they create are often termed as doujinshi. That is only the tip of the iceberg though. Inside that world of doujinshi, a lot of which is harmless fan fiction based on mainstream properties, there is yet another world, the world of hentai doujinshi. (more…)

The lolicon genre of hentai doujinshi has always been one that raised many eyebrows. While it is perfectly legal in Japan to show cartoon depictions of children, all the way down to toddler ages, in X-rated situations, in many countries, the viewing of lolicon artwork could get someone thrown in jail. Because the nature of doujin works is to take popular characters from mainstream properties and parody them in adult situations, popular franchises like Card Captor Sakura, in which most characters are around ten years old, are regularly given the hentai doujinshi treatment. Another popular show, Neon Genesis Evangelion, which features characters in their early teens, also falls into this category of hentai. (more…)

Video games have hardly escaped the notice of Savvy doujin circles when it comes to properties to parody in hentai doujinshi. Based on sales figures, some video games would have to be deemed more well known and bigger than some anime and manga. Resident Evil is probably one them. It is also a property that some doujin circles just couldn’t pass up. With its beautiful female characters and plenty of monsters with strange appendages, hentai thoughts could only be just around the corner. Let’s face it, when you have a monster called a “licker” in your story, somebody’s going to make a hentai doujinshi parody out of it. (more…)

Some titles are such that you never expect them to find there way into an X-Rated parody. One would think that Pokemon is such a title, but those who think so would be very wrong. Pokemon hentai doujinshi does, in fact, exist, and it is quite popular. To some this may not be surprising, because fans of the doujin world overall know that no title is safe from parody. Moreover, fans will know that there are even stranger things out there in that world. Still, Pokemon hentai doujinshi, based on the characters from the original work, is pretty strange in and of itself. (more…)

Naruto, the fast paced, ninja, action manga series which debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump years ago, has been the number one manga for a very long time. A property so popular, and with so many characters, could never escape the eyes of doujin circles looking to reap the benefits of such notoriety. Naruto hentai doujinshi is, therefore, in no short supply in the Japanese indie market. These works range the full gamut from manga, CG collections to computer games and video. Some doujin circles seem to have devoted themselves to a single character from the franchise, like Sakura or Hinata. Others run wild with all the possibilities of a show with such a large cast. (more…)

The immensely popular shonen manga, Bleach, has stood the test of time with its ever changing stories and characters. Having amassed an outrageous number of recurring characters, including no less than 13 warrior squads, each with a captain and vice-captain, and some with lieutenants, all as regulars, not to mention the lead characters, doujin circles are like kids in a candy store with all the possibilities to chose from. To add fuel to the fire, many of the characters in Bleach, by their costumes or demeanor, seem to be just asking to be placed in a Bleach hentai doujinshi. (more…)
